I know the Playground platform connects with versioning control systems like (Bitbucket, Github) and stores & versions all files in them.
Private exchanges can use their own versioning systems. There should be an ability for private exchanges to see repo URLs somewhere on the plays so that they can go directly to the repositories without wasting time searching them manually.
