The Short answer is NO.
Playground does support other frameworks. It can store any code from any framework. Playground was started to upload & manage Salesforce solutions initially but soon we realized that it cannot be only limited to Salesforce.
Even in the Salesforce ecosystem, Lot of people work on various technologies like Angular, React, NodeJS to deliver end-to-end streamlined solutions. Restricting users to only one technology will not help users & will not help us so we introduced Play Types. With Play Types, Admins can create categories for any framework, and users can upload/manage their favorite solutions for these frameworks on Playground itself, keeping everything in a single place.
